Tips for customizing furniture

Points to be caution:

  1. Select a company with good reputation. If there is no recommendation from a friend or relative, we recommend you to go visiting various companies and compare. When looking at furniture, do not just look at the sample from the stores but request them to give you pictures or even show you the real thing.
  2. Do not just look at the price: when customizing, make sure the company is serious about their work and if the price is reasonable.
  3. Do not randomly order: make sure to check over the receipt for information like measurements, materials, price, deposit and the method to pay the outstanding amount.
  4. Check to see if “No return of deposit” or “if order is canceled, deposit fee will be made into drawing fee” or related words is on the receipt. To protect your own benefit, request the company to write “deposit can be used to buy already made furniture” and “ design drawing shall prevail” and related terms and have the sales associate sign to confirm. Discussion about the price should be done before ordering.
  5. The property owner should supervise on the spot when workers are doing measurements of the house. Firstly, it can decrease the possibility of making a mistake and secondly you can consult with the worker at the time. If the client has hired another furniture company, they should let the worker know about it so both companies can communicate. If any mistakes were to happen in the process, the client will have to pay to rebuilding. Companies are not responsible in these circumstances.
  6. The client should confirm if the measurements match the ones on the design plan.
  7. Imagine if the furniture design and the material match.
  8. Be aware of details: make sure storage space and distance between furniture is enough. Let the furniture company know if you are not satisfied.
  9. Bring the design plan when checking for corrosion or damage in furniture, if all components are complete, and if it can be placed in it designated spot. If everything is checked and good, then you can pay the rest of the amount.

Our company will not take the responsibility to provide the insurance cover (e.g. labour insurance and the warranty of every project), 3-year structural warranty of the residential project and 1-year structural warranty of the commercial project if the project did not follow the above payment request. Without the insurance cover and structural warranty, it will be hard to keep the engineering quality and also an incomplete project will appeared🤯, and client may carry unnecessary loss. 💸
