Fitting out fee is high, many owners would choose to order furniture at online shopping platforms to save the costs for home renovation, but actually the risk of online shopping is very high, the loss may outweigh the gain if they do not pay attention.

As a smart consumer, how to avoid the above problem faced by the victim?
  1. Choose a reputed, experienced and professional company when purchasing or ordering furniture:
    i) Pay attention to whether the company has a strictly managed construction team and professional transportation service, to ensure its staff are professional, and will supervise the whole process from furniture making to transportation to the customer’s home, to avoid accidents.
    ii) Pay attention to whether the company has a comprehensive indemnity system, state the indemnity terms in black and white.
  2. Research the company’s background when choosing a furniture making company, reputed and experienced company normally has international recognitions of related industry, such as Quality management system ISO 9001:2015, Environmental Management system ISO 14001:2015 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001:2007, etc., to ensure the quality of products.
  3. There’re numerous online shopping platforms nowadays, price and service quality should be carefully considered when choosing services, avoid patronizing online shops without clear backgrounds because of lower price. It is worrying that the companies are lack of comprehensive indemnity systems and irresponsible to consumers, causing loss to helpless consumers.
  4. In order to avoid bearing the risks passed by the companies/platforms, or dealing with and spending time on the complicated processes of chasing compensation, choose high quality and professional companies to arrange specific departments to follow up, so as to avoid these risks.

Without the insurance cover and structural warranty, it will be hard to keep the engineering quality and also an incomplete project will appeared🤯, and client may carry unnecessary loss. 💸
