A lot of obstacles to cross when claiming home insurance

Can home insurance ensure protection? Owners are complaining about the obstacles they face when claiming compensation. If a brick of the wall breaks, insurance companies can reason that the brick is provided by the developer and does not belong to the structure; thus decline to compensate.

Points to be caution :
  1. When purchasing home insurance, consumers must fully acknowledge all terms and conditions of the contract and what the insurance will protect you from. If the coverage does not list specific situations clearly, then if anything related happened then the insurance company has the right to decline compensation. For example, if the home insurance only covers furniture, design, home electronics, etc. If the cement breaks, the company has the right to decline compensation because its not covered.
  2. Consumers should compare home insurance plans from various companies because every insurance company and bank has different coverage.
  3. Consumers should select a well established, experienced, and licensed interior design company to ensure the quality of the construction and service. If the property owner does hire a non-licensed company and something wrong happens, even if the owner brought insurance beforehand, Insurance companies may not compensate for the loss as the owner crossed legal boundaries. In the end, owners are deemed to be responsible for everything.
  4. A well established and experienced interior design company should meet ISO standards and strictly control the quality to ensure accuracy. Moreover, a good company should place their emphasis on employee training to provide them product knowledge and safety. Lastly, regular supervision will occur to make sure there's no mistakes/problems.
  5. After the renovation is done, a good company will provide free warranty for the client. If the damage is not made by humans then our company will gladly repair.

Without the insurance cover and structural warranty, it will be hard to keep the engineering quality and also an incomplete project will appeared🤯, and client may carry unnecessary loss. 💸
