Taking the lead in environmental protection
Environmental protection has become the trend of the community. As one of the industry’s most forward-looking companies, not only has the Design Information Centre started to use environmentally friendly materials at a very early stage, it has even acquired ISO14001:2004 environmental management system certification to provide customers with a more comfortable home, and the employees a better working environment.
Under the guidance of ISO14001:2004 management system, the Design Information Centre has become a pioneer in the industry to place first priority on customer health. It implements a variety of measures regardless of construction materials, and at the indoor of construction sites, shops and offices to meet the needs of environmental protection.
The use of materials:
Taking customer health into account, the Design Information Centre uses the most environmentally friendly green building materials, such as placing the wooden materials at a well ventilated place for a period of time before using them to reduce their formaldehyde content, and using paints that meet the higher EU standards.

The construction site﹕
1. The indoor of a construction site will be divided into different zones to sort out and classify the recyclable and non-recyclable materials.
2. While doing some construction procedures that will generate noises or dust, the windows within the construction site will be closed, the doors lined with damped clothes, and the construction masters put on masks, goggles and earplugs before doing the engineering work.
3. The construction site will be prepared with steel containers to store flammable, corrosive and volatile liquid, and to avoid leakage.
4. The company has standard handling procedures to ensure that the remaining paints, cement and chemicals are cleaned up properly.
5. The construction site will be affixed with relevant environmental slogans and a “Material Safety Data Sheet” to allow workers to pay attention on hazardous objects, emergency guidance and other information.
6. The company will pre-determine the possible accidents that might occur in the construction site and set up contingency measures in advance.
7. The construction personnel will hold regular emergency exercises to train construction workers to deal with emergency situations rapidly and calmly.
Prior to construction, the Site Supervision will meet with all construction workers to ensure that they understand all the construction and environmental protection measures
Customer orientation to co-create environmentally friendly homes
In addition, all departments and offices of Design Information Centre are also implemented with environmental protection measures, such as recycling the recyclable objects. Internally, all employees are actively acknowledged with environmental protection awareness, allowing them to provide environmentally-friendly building materials to their customers more efficiently, as well as meeting the needs of customers. Emphasizing environmental protection issue from inside out, it is no wonder that the Design Information Centre is the most outstanding company in the industry.
