The featured apartment is located at Sui Sai Wan Island Resort with a saleable area around 848 square ft. The original layout is a 3-room apartment but it is now a one room apartment to allow the owner to enjoy ample living space. With the unique material and their favorite music, the couple can enjoy living in an apartment with sea view.

The designer has changed the partition and replaced the wall facing the ocean with glass to allow the owner enjoy the 270o splendid seascape.


There has been a turnover in the layout. The wall facing the sea is replaced by a glass panel to let the owner enjoy the wide ocean view up to allow the owner enjoy the 270o splendid seascape.


3D wall decoration mimicking the coastline

The overall design layout serves to reinforce the sea view. By applying computer cut technology, the granite wall next to the gate presents a dune effect. The TV back wall in the living room is made of timber and black marble pictures the coastline of Hong Kong and Kowloon. This echoes with the sea view throughout the design layout.

The living room is designed with modern elements with wooden flooring highlighted with grey sofa and black marble wall. The space behind the sofa is connected to the original guest room. It now serves as the study room to allow the owner to work at home.



An apartment with a sea view is popular in the market. The designer has maximized with the 270o sea view of the featured apartment by changing the layout. The wall of the living room is made of granite displaying the dune effect and coast touch which allows the owner to enjoy the sea breeze like living in the beach.

There is a long black mirror surface storage cabinet against the wall of the dining room where the hollow part is equipped with light trough is served for wine wares. There is a round glass table with chairs in black and red in the middle. Soundproofing element is introduced in the design as the owner is a collector of audio equipments. There are special equipments in the ceiling to enhance the audio effects.

As this apartment is only for a family of two, the designer created a mega suite by connecting the master bedroom and the neighboring guest room. It is equipped with a cloakroom and master bathroom and used a sliding door as a separation.

The bedroom has a square layout with a double bed on one side. It provides enough space for the owner to get out of bed from the other three sides. The windowsill on the other side can allow the owner to display their collections. The huge window with sea view introduces natural lighting in the area. Due to hygiene reasons, the master bathroom is equipped with the sink and shower room only.

As for the kitchen, the designer has specifically reduce the air conditioning area in order to provide a larger kitchen. It is equipped with multiple kitchen cabinets for storage to make up the low storage capacity in the living room. The mirror of one side is a secret door to the laundry room.


The hollow corridor is now as a part of the living room to reinforce the seascape effect.

The living room is designed with modern elements with wooden flooring highlighted with grey sofa and black marble wall.

A study room is created behind the sofa in the living room to allow the owner to work at home.

By applying computer cut technology, the granite wall next to the gate presents a dune effect.

As far as the toilet, there are Chinese painting on one wall and the feature timber fossil sink on the other wall for a chic design.

The designer has specifically reduce the air conditioning area for a large kitchen with multiple kitchen cabinets for storage.

The bedroom has a square layout with a double bed on one side. It provides enough space for the owner to get out of bed from the other three sides. The windowsill on the other side can allow the owner to display their collections.

The master bedroom is connected with the cloakroom and the master toilet to maximize the storage capacity.

Due to hygiene reasons, the master bathroom is equipped with the sink and shower room only.
