Thanks to the perfect design by the designer Rive in space partitioning, allowing the owner of an 800-square-foot apartment to enjoy the 270-degree magnificent sea views. He moved the corridor which was formally located at house’s center to the window side for a better view. The design was inspired by the coastal landscape and details can be found in every corner of the house.
Magnificent landscape
The sea views of this 3-bedroom/2-living room unit was originally blocked by one bedroom, so the designer decided to remove all the partition walls in the house and set up an open office behind the living room. Later on, the door of the master room was moved to the window side and a sliding door constructed to increase the spaciousness. Whenever the door is opened, the owner is able to enjoy a 270-degree panoramic view of the sea.
The living room is placed with a set of audio equipment to allow the music to spread throughout the living room and the connected open office while the owner is working. The dining room’s showcase is placed with the owner’s collections of wine and all kinds of wine glasses, allowing the guests to enjoy drinking and chatting while coming for a visit.

The house has a red and black benches made of origami. Tthese benches can be pulled apart to allow the people to sit on the cushions and dine around a round glass table.
Owner’s requests
As the owner is fond of audio device and whiskey lover, he always organise home parties. As he always works at home and would like to listen to music while working, so the design taken his daily needs and connotation of interior design into consideration.
Design features
The designer has created a coastline story in the design to echo with the coastal landscape outside the windows. Every corner of the room is injected with relevant elements to create a modern coastline story.
Inconsistency
The master room is an extension of fashion design in the living room. The designer has deliberately changed the common practices by decorating the bedside wall in glass material and the other side of the wall in textile material to create a brand new look. The master room has a cloakroom made up of a cabinet on the left and right, forming an aisle in the middle to link with the bathroom to enhance the practicality. In addition, the bathroom is divided into a wet and dry area to save space while maintaining privacy and sanitation.

The cloakroom is made up of a wardrobe on the left and right, forming an isle in the middle to link with the bathroom to greatly improve the practicality of space. The floor platform’s edge and the cabinet’s base in the bathroom are installed with diffused lights to enhance a sense of buoyancy and reduce oppression.
