They do not have much money for decoration but expect a unique space for their own. But in fact this is not as difficult as imagine. Hanging decorations can add creativity in the design. Simply just hang up colorful Tibetan picture in the simple dining room and create more visual layers.

Simply just hang up colorful Tibetan picture in the simple dining room and create more visual layers.

Clients expect partition wall to be removed to increase space and shared spaces be highlighted in design, that is to say, through design, there must be a living and dining room which can also be turned into bedroom or study room at any time, all of which can be co-existed in one space.

Young buyers expect more visual space, designers could choose the same type of ground tiles for dining and living room and open kitchen to create no visual difference. Some newly-developed buildings provide green balcony, so platforms could be elevated to extend the living room space to balcony.

New furniture accessories

Kevin Chan admitted that as mini-unit buyers have been growing in a great number recently, furniture and accessories makers have launched different products to meet market demand, and it is much simpler and easier for buyers to DIY furniture or pay for someone to do the decoration.

But he also reminded young buyers that decorating a mini unit not only stress on design and practical use but also the safety needs, in particular never apply sharp glass decorations to personal activity area in consideration of limited space.
