To create a comfortable and spacious living environment, the designer has merged the master room and bedroom by tearing down the wall to increase the working area. After enlarging the master room, it has turned into a suite. In addition, as sufficient space is needed in the living room to accommodate the activities of the owners’ cat, so most furniture units are in legged designs to facilitate the pet to move around.
Living & dining room
The stripped TV wall with a light trough has generated a tall ceiling impression, and the hidden storage room door created a complete wall design.
To avoid the apartment to look monotonous due to its dominant white color, the wallpaper at the back of sofa is emphasized in grayish-black metallic shade.
Smart Décor
The master room’s secret door is decorated in wooden veneer to balance the decorative element of heating and cooling equipment. The adjacent shoe cabinet of the room is trimmed with rivets to enhance the space with a 3D effect.
Bathroom
The master room’s floor platform serves as a storage compartment as well as a separated workplace. In addition, the headboard wall is laid with special wallpaper to highlight its texture through light infiltration.
The bedside has a hanging wardrobe with a hollow central position for light infiltration, and it is painted in pure white to reduce an oppressive feeling of the real wall.
As the workshop is reconstructed from the bedroom, its renovated column is added with a light trough and bookcase.

The renovated column is built with a connecting curved bookcase.
The kitchen’s glass sliding door with a black aluminum frame is able to match with the TV cabinet design soundly.
Decoration essence
1. To meet with the owner’s requirement to have more space, the designer has broadened the master room by tearing down a wall and converting the bedroom into a workplace.
2. The apartment is emphasized in white theme to brighten up the space, and wooden and metal elements are used to harmonize the color and atmosphere.
3. The floor platform and two wardrobes in the master room have generated ample space to store clothing.
